Helen Dyck of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, May 05, 2020 at the age of 58. Helen was born on May 03, 1962 in Sommerfeld, Paraguay, South America to parents John and Eva Dyck. Helen moved to Canada with her family in June 1970 as an eight year old.

Helen, a much loved daughter, sister, sister-in-law, niece, cousin, and friend is survived by her sister Susie, brother Abe and sister-in-law Karen as well her only niece Keanna and husband Madison. She also leaves to mourn numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends who were like family to her.

Children had a very special place in Helen’s heart and life. One of her lasting legacies will be the love and gentleness with which she nurtured the children left in her care.

Helen led a simple life, with favourite past times which included watching movies, taking and sharing photos of family and friends, spending as much time as possible with loved ones, celebrations of various occasions, and sharing a meal. Helen will always be remembered for her lovely sense of humour and infectious smile.

Due to the limitations and restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family service and burial will take place.
