Robert "Rob" David Friesen - May 1, 2015 at Carman Mennonite Church

On Friday, April 24, Rob passed away to his eternal rest. He was born April 29, 1975. He is survived by his loving parents Peter and Judy Friesen, two brothers and one niece, Wayne in Edmonton, and Jamie who lives in Carman with his daughter Ashley, as well and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his fraternal and maternal grandparents, two aunts and two uncles.

Rob loved the work he was doing. He worked for the R.M. of Macdonald at Sanford. He also had a great passion for owning lots of vehicles, but that was our Rob. He lived on his own on the same yard as we do, and was always there to give a helping hand to his dad or any friends who needed his assistance. He worked hard. He bought his own little backhoe and started his own company: Robs Mini Excavations. His aspirations were to be doing a lot of digging this summer. Things did not work out that way, he succumbed to heart failure on Friday evening. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, R3L 0K6 or to a charity of one’s choice. Rob we love and miss you immensely, Love Dad, Mom, Wayne, Jamie (Ashley) and Ashley. See you in heaven Son.

Funeral service was held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Carman Mennonite Church. Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery, Carman.
